Harassment is harassment, plain and simple, however there are a lot of people that do not see someone calling and hanging up on you as being harassment. Well frankly, I disagree. It can get quite annoying and irritating when you are in the middle of a meeting, or out to dinner with friends and you keep getting phone call after phone call. There is a way for you to strike back and find out who is calling you so that you can put an end to it. How can you do this? This can be done easily by using a reverse phone directory.
What are they?
A reverse phone directory is found online and works like a gigantic phone book, except for one thing. Instead of entering someone's name to get their phone number, you enter a phone number to get a person's name, address and much more. This works greatly to your advantage as it will reveal to you the caller's true identity, which will allow you to contact them to put an end to all of the calls.
Are they free?
The answer to this is yes and no. It is free to search to see if the number is in their system, but ultimately you will have to pay in order to get any of the personal information generated on each number. The reason they charge is because the company purchases the information from cell phone carriers to begin with. However this fee is minimal.
Is it hard to do?
No. If you can use a search engine like Yahoo or Google then you can easily use a reverse phone directory. All you need to do is enter the phone number in the search function in order for it to check their database and run a report on the number. Once it is done you will have the option to purchase a full report on the number and caller.
Once you have this information you can finally put an end to all of the irritating calls and say goodbye to hang ups in the middle of the night. There are several ways for you to deal with your harasser - you can call them directly, send them a text message or alert the authorities, but I will leave that up to you. Stop being on the receiving end of these annoying calls - put an end to it right now.
